Overview

David Edelstein has been practicing criminal defense in Miami-Dade County for over 20 years. Although most of his cases are in Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County, the has represented clients from Key West to Jacksonville to Tampa.

He began practicing criminal defense at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender's Office. After eaving the Public Defender's Office in 2000, he started his firm and has been practicing criminal defense privately for over 20 years.

Over the past two decades, Mr. Edelstein has represented a multitude of clients charged with misdemeanor crimes such as petit theft, domestic violence, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer without violence. He has represented clients in felony state court cases on a wide range of charges including organized fraud, grand theft, drug trafficking,as well as other felony drug crimes. He has also represented many clients in charged with federal crimes in federal court.
