John R. Borgo began his career teaching law. He was Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Southern California Law School, Visiting Lecturer at Oxford University, and Visiting Associate Professor of Law at the University of Miami.
He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the Yale Law School, and studied at Oxford University. His publication, Causal Paradigms in Tort Law, 8 Journal of Legal Studies 419, has been cited in opinions of the federal Courts of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Louisiana. Mr. Borgo became a member of The Florida Bar in 1988.
He has been admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Florida.
