Overview

Matthew is a litigator known for developing thoughtful case strategies from the outset, communicating with clients empathetically, and advocating zealously in the courtroom. Prior to joining AXS LAW, Matthew worked for three years at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, where he litigated five trials to verdict and upwards of a dozen evidentiary hearings.

Matthew earned his Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2022. In law school, Matthew sought extensive clinical experience—drafting appellate amicus briefs, representing indigent criminal defendants, and conducting mediations. He also served on the editorial board of the Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and was a member of the Board of Student Advisers.

Prior to law school, Matthew worked for nearly two years at Treacy & Company, a management consulting firm. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. In 2019. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys visiting national parks, running, and singing.
