Overview
Steven L. Beiley is a Partner in the Firm's Miami office, and his primary areas of practice include debtors and creditors' rights, out-of-court workouts, debt restructuring, commercial litigation and the representation and counseling of financial institutions. He has represented both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases, assignments for the benefit of creditors and out of court workouts. Mr. Beiley has also served as outside general litigation counsel to several financial institution including Florida's largest bank for whom he provided representation and counseling for more than six years, involving contract disputes, title insurance claims, creditors rights and workouts, fraud, corporate transactions, real estate and construction litigation, the prosecution of residential, consumer and commercial foreclosures, and the defense of claims and suits brought by borrowers, third parties and regulators dealing with compliance and litigation under BSA, TILA and RESPA, as well as subpoena and grand jury subpoena compliance, writs of garnishment, government seizures and levies.
Mr. Beiley's legal expertise, professionalism and ethics have been recognized and awarded by his peers with an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell; as one of Florida's Legal Elite by Florida Trend Magazine since 2006; and as one of Florida's Super Lawyers since 2007.
