William E. Edwards - Miami, FL

Mr. Edwards was born in Washington D.C., and grew up in Orlando, FL. He also lived in Montclair, New Jersey and London, England during his childhood. He graduated from Trinity Preparatory School, where he won achievement awards in writing and art.

Mr. Edwards received his B.A. degree in Economics from Emory University. He was an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity, where he served as the social chair, and participated in intramural sports.

After graduating from college, Mr. Edwards worked for several years at a small advertising firm in Orlando, FL. When he made the decision to matriculate into law school, he settled on St. Thomas University School of Law, where he attended on a Dean's Scholarship. While at St. Thomas he excelled academically, winning two best student book awards in Contracts I and Cyber Law. He was also a member of Law Review and the Business Law Society. He supplemented his legal education by studying abroad during the summer of his second year, completing two law school courses in beautiful El Escorial, Spain. Furthermore, Mr. Edwards held two clerkships during law school, for boutique firms specializing in bankruptcy and family law, respectively.

Mr. Edwards also worked for a firm in Boca Raton that handled residential real estate transactions before joining Hightower & Partners in the firm's Miami office. He is a member of The Florida Bar. In his free time he enjoys cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
