Hired Law firm 2025-2026I am very happy I was able to have Lori Raybon as my lawyer I would recommend her every time

Hired Law firm 2025’m deeply grateful to Attorney Lori M. Raybon and her assistant, Crystal Lusby, for their exceptional representation of my son, Matias Soto‑Aguilar. From our first conversation, Lori combined deep legal expertise with compassion. She clearly explained our options, set realistic expectations, and prepared thoroughly for each step. Crystal ensured we always felt supported—coordinating documents, scheduling, and promptly answering questions. Their teamwork gave us confidence during a stressful time. Thanks to their diligence, communication, and care, my son was represented with integrity and skill. I wholeheartedly recommend Lori and Crystal to anyone seeking a professional, responsive, and trustworthy legal team. Their guidance made a challenging process manageable, and our family is truly thankful.

Hired Law firm 2024-2025I am throughly pleased with Lori Raybon, her assistant Crystal, and the staff. Ms Raybon is forthcoming and direct. She does not mince words, and does not try to give false hope just to be retained. She states the reality and seriousness of the charges, and informs you of how aggressively she plans to proceed with the case if you are a client of hers. When questions arise, the answers are returned in a timely manner. Ms Raybon and her staff are professional, diligent and tenacious Throughout our entire ordeal, we always felt included in the process.

Hired Law firm 2023-2024This is what I can tell you about my experience having Ms Raybon as my attorney. When looking for an attorney I was told by many reputable people in my life at that time, that Lori Raybon is a beast in the courtroom. People said to me that she’s not cheap, but she is fearless and won’t take a case if she didn’t feel she could win the case. I had to at least schedule a consultation. So I did. I will tell you that Ms.Raybon is an acquired taste I suppose. Not quite a fine wine but more a two buck chuck from Trader Joe’s. What I mean is, she’s deliberate. She’s confident and unabashed. She knows what it is she needs to do and she is gonna get it done. She doesn’t need my help. If she does, she’ll ask. And she has my best interests in mind. She is not terribly expensive like I was warned and frankly the monthly payments I made on time each month she made available was helpful and she was true to her word that I would not incur additional costs that she didn’t already outline for me. I was facing 110 years. In prison. An exposure that made it imperative that I retained somebody I felt could fight for me successfully. Ms.Raybon got a guilty man facing 110 years, probation. That’s right! Probation. Maybe Ms. Raybon is a fine wine indeed. Either way, you’re in good hands if you have Lori Raybon on your side. For the record: I’ve changed my ways and attribute that to Lori and her help finding a way to keep me out of prison. Thank you Ms. Raybon.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
