Overview
Mark Patterson was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in Long Island. In 1997, he relocated to Orlando, FL and was hired by Morgan & Morgan as an investigator in 2002.
Mr. Patterson received his bachelor's degree from Columbia Southern University, and his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he graduated as Valedictory Speaker of his class.
While in law school Mr. Patterson earned the honor of Dean's List, competed in the National teams for Mock Trial & Client Counseling Competitions, coming in as runner-up. He also won the Intra School Mock Trial, Client Counseling, and Moot Court Competitions. Mr. Patterson also served as Governor for the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Law School Division, Public Relations Director of the Student Bar Association, and as a Member of the Military Veterans, Black Law, and Federal Bar Student Associations.
Mr. Patterson has dedicated his life in service of others which is evident from his seven-year service in the United States Marine Corps, and thereafter for eight years as a Deputy Sheriff in Polk County, FL, where he received a medal of valor, and numerous other commendations. During his tenure as a Deputy Sheriff he earned certifications as a Street Training Instructor, Traffic Homicide Investigator, and Radar/Laser Operator.
Mr. Patterson primarily focuses his practice in the areas of complex litigation with an emphasis in Product Liability. Mr. Patterson is a member of the Florida Bar.
