Overview

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cook worked as an associate attorney at a workers’ compensation insurance defense firm. Her background also includes serving as a Federal Judicial Intern for the Honorable Thomas B. McCoun, III in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Honorable Catherine Peek McEwen in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Cook earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. While attending law school, she served as the President of the Bankruptcy Society and was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Among her many law school accomplishments, she was honored with the Book Award in Florida Constitutional Law, received the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association Alexander L. Paskay Scholarship, as well as the Jack M. Eckerd Scholarship.
