Attorney Information
Overview
Jackelyn Isasi is a personal injury attorney at Lytal, Reiter, Smith, Ivey & Fronrath in West Palm Beach, Florida. She represents individuals and families in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and nursing home abuse and neglect cases throughout Palm Beach County and South Florida.
Jackie’s path to the courtroom started in the firm’s file room. She joined Lytal Reiter in February 2022 as a file clerk before law school, then returned every summer as a law clerk. By the time she earned her law degree, she had already spent years learning how serious injury cases are built, from the first client call to the final verdict. That hands-on foundation in personal injury litigation and client advocacy is something few new attorneys bring to the table.
Finance Background, Litigation Focus
Catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases often turn on numbers: lost earnings, lifetime medical costs, the true economic impact of a preventable death. Jackie’s background gives her an edge here. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University in 2021 and her Master of Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2023. That training helps her analyze complex damages, work with economic and medical experts, and present a clear financial picture to insurers and juries.
Jackie earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law in May 2026. In law school she was a member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL), the Cuban American Student Bar Association, and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society.
Deep Roots in Palm Beach County
Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Jackie is a proud Cuban American and a 2018 graduate of Cardinal Newman High School. Her family’s story is woven into West Palm Beach itself. Her grandfather founded one of the first Cuban American-owned businesses in the city, a furniture store he ran for 50 years. Jackie grew up working there, and that is where she learned what she still believes matters most: show up, work hard, treat every person who walks through the door with respect, and earn their trust one conversation at a time.
She brings that same approach to the families she represents today. Many of her clients are facing the worst moment of their lives.
Outside the office, Jackie enjoys CrossFit, traveling, and spending time at South Florida’s beaches. She can often be found with her Havanese, Mojito, who is rarely far from her side.
