Overview
A Florida native, Murphy earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, in 2003. In 2006, he received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida and was admitted to the Florida Bar. Murphy returned to the University of Miami in 2007 to obtain a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Estate Planning.
Murphy joined The Law Office of Nicole C. Morris, P.A. in 2015, having previously worked in several law firms in Palm Beach and Martin County. Murphy's practice includes Estate Planning, Tax Planning, and Estate & Trust Administration. He is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, and has experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service on a variety of matters. He received a Pro Bono Award from the University of Florida for his work in preparing free tax returns for low income and elderly individuals, persons with disabilities, and those with a limited mastery of the English language.
Murphy remains committed to charitable work. He serves on the Board of Directors of Boys Town South Florida. He is a founding member of the Palm Beach Gardens Historical Society, and volunteers with Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Murphy stays active in the legal community as a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar.
Murphy lives in Jupiter, Florida. An avid runner, he is a member of several running clubs and enjoys competing in local races.
