Jessica L. Stewart has over 12 years of experience representing clients in their divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence injunction, asset and liability distribution, and child relocation matters.
Jessica spent her formative years in Mobile, Alabama where she developed a passion for various aspects of dance, including competitive dance. She attended The University of Southern Mississippi and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and minor in Psychology. The skills that she acquired dancing earned her a scholarship and a position on the Dixie Darlings dance team while she attended The University of Southern Mississippi. Jessica was also a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society while attending Auburn University.
After graduating from Auburn University, she continued her education at Mississippi College School of Law, where she obtained her law degree. While attending law school, she received the Best Paper Award on two occasions.
Jessica initially joined The Reed Law Office in March 2014, and her practice focuses primarily on Divorce and Family Law matters. Her background also brings a wealth of efficiencies to our legal team. Jessica’s experience in Family Law, the discovery process, trial preparation, drafting pleadings, and all other aspects of the process, is invaluable to the firm’s success.
Ms. Stewart has practiced Family Law as well as general civil litigation in Bay, Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton and Leon Counties in Florida with several other firms. Her familiarity and span of knowledge in these surrounding counties is invaluable to her clients.
As part of The Reed Law Office legal team, her determination and creative strategies are truly comprehensive to deliver the best possible outcome for every client. Jessica is also an involved and dedicated member of the Walton and Bay County communities. Jessica is a member of the Bay County Bar Association, Northwest Florida Collaborative Law Group, Bay County Family Law Bench & Bar, and Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. Jessica is also a past member of the Okaloosa County Bar Association, Walton County Bar Association, Bay County Women Lawyer’s Association, St. Andrews Bay Inn of Court, Florida Bar Young Lawyer Division, Trial Lawyers Section of the Florida Bar, and volunteer for Northwest Florida Legal Services. She is a dependable problem-solver who is result-driven and zealously represents her clients in and out of the courtroom. She spends her spare time with her husband and two children. Jessica enjoys running, traveling and enjoying the beautiful beaches.
