After earning a bachelor’s degree from the University of Tampa, Mr. Straw received his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. He served on the mock trial team and was a member of the law review. He gained practical legal experience by litigating civil matters for the Office of the State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial District after becoming certified by the Florida Supreme Court.
Following law school, Mr. Straw worked as a law clerk and associate attorney at a Florida-based firm. This role allowed him to develop his skills in the personal injury field, as he handled matters involving assault, child abuse, defective products and other catastrophic injuries.
Mr. Straw enjoys staying active in the legal community. He is a member of The Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
