Having served with three counties at the highest level in local government law, one of which as County Attorney, Mr. Oldehoff has experience with the entire spectrum local government practice. From advising government bodies, to writing ordinances and contracts, to overseeing projects, to writing and lobbying for litigation, Mr. Oldehoff knows how to accomplish the objectives and defend the actions of local governments.
Mr. Oldehoff's Land Use, Environmental, and Zoning Law practice has been at the forefront of the law in Florida. He has advised and represented local governments as well as private property owners. Mr. Oldehoff knows how to obtain the best possible outcome for the client.

Martin County v. Yusem, 690 So. 2d 1288 (Fla. 1997), establishing the law that comprehensive plans and comprehensive plan amendments (even for specific properties) are legislative actions subject to judicial review under a standard that the local government’s decision will not be disturbed if it is fairly debatable.
