Michael H. Scott brings a unique perspective to 5241619Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, PLLC, joining the West Palm Beach and Stuart offices after 10 years of litigating cases in state and federal courts, primarily as a defense attorney.
During his tenure at defense firms in Florida, Massachusetts and Connecticut, Michael gained substantial experience and invaluable insight into the strategies and tactics often employed by defendants and their insurers in worker’s compensation, property insurance, automobile, and premises liability lawsuits.
Eager for more rewarding results for injured clients and their families, Michael joined Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, PLLC in October 2024 and focuses his practice on representing individuals and families who have suffered serious personal injury, wrongful death, or have been victimized because of the bad faith practices of an insurance company.
Originally from New England, Michael graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and is admitted to practice in Florida’s state and federal courts. He is also licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator and Arbitrator. In addition to his legal work, he is a supporter of, and contributor to, diversity within Florida’s Bar and a leader in the local UConn Alumni Association.
