Consulted Law firm 2021Trey was a delight to work with! They offered me a free consultation where they really educated me on all the avenues I could go. They could've had me file for bankruptcy and take my money instead they sent me on a better route that was in my best interest. The honestly was great. I highly recommend these guys.

Consulted Law firm 2021I inquired about Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings from Mr. Bruner by telephone. Nothing made any sense as he spent most of the time looking up the value of my 10 yr old car! ...and giving me a gloomy picture. As it turned out, he was reading me the protocol for Chapter 13! ...which is a "reorganization" program for those who CAN pay back. That was not what I asked ,and the gloomy picture he gave me did NOT give me the confidence that I could EVER get out of credit card debt OR even buy a home, eventually....In short m it did not seem that he knew what he was talking about...and was NOT what I asked! . Are you SURE that these are competent bankruptcy attys??!. J.W. Defuniak Spgs. FL

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
