Oertel, Fernandez, Bryant & Atkinson, P.A., have been helping clients in Tallahassee, Florida, with environmental, regulatory, land use, governmental, health care and professional licensing law for over 40 years. The regulatory practice of the law firm includes water resource development and permitting, wetland permitting, water and air quality, submerged lands growth management, mining, zoning, health care law, labor law, professional licensing and utilities and energy law.

Oertel, Fernandez, Bryant & Atkinson, P.A., has developed and fostered relationships built on trust with key regulatory agencies. Located just minutes away from the Florida Supreme Court, Leon County Courthouse, Florida Capitol building and other important Florida state agencies, the law firm is ideally situated to efficiently represent our clients.

Kenneth G. Oertel founded the law firm and has been practicing law since 1978. He authored a book on the Administrative Procedure Act: Florida Administrative Practice Forms. Segundo J. Fernandez joined the firm in 1983 after serving as assistant and deputy general Counsel with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. M. Christopher Bryant has been with the firm for over 25 years. He has written numerous articles and is a regular lecturer in the field of administrative law. Timothy P. Atkinson has been recognized by the Florida Bar for attaining board certification in state and federal government and administrative practice.
