Sherene C. Stenger - Tallahassee, FL

Sherene C. Stenger has practiced law since 1999, working in Estate Planning, Probate, Estate and Trust Administration, Probate Litigation, and Family Law. She joined Coleman Law, P.A. in 2025, where her focus is Estate Planning, Probate, and Business.

A native of New York, Sherene moved to Boca Raton in 1989. She is a first-generation American with family roots in Trinidad. She earned her degree in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University before continuing her studies at Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 1998 — serving on the International Law Journal, competing in Moot Court, and earning a spot on the Dean's List along the way.

After law school, Sherene practiced law in Colorado, focusing on Family Law, Estate Planning, Estate and Trust Administration, and Probate Litigation. During that time, she became the primary caretaker for her mother, who suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2003. That experience as a fiduciary and caregiver for a parent with dementia is what drew her into Estate Planning and Probate work — giving her firsthand knowledge of just how important thorough, well-prepared estate planning documents really are, and a deep understanding of the sensitivities involved in guiding families toward real peace of mind. She returned home to Florida in 2019.

Sherene is an animal lover and a lover of nature, from white water rafting to the ocean to flowers, and she makes time for reading, exercise, shopping, and travel. She has taught continuing legal education courses on Trusts and Guardianships, spoken on promoting dignity for individuals with dementia, and held leadership roles with the Colorado Bar Association and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers (South Palm Beach County chapter). She is also a member of the Florida Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
