Overview

Steven Hogan joined the firm in 2010. His practice focuses on commercial litigation and tax law, as well as education law, appellate law, bankruptcy, and business law.

Before joining the firm, Steven served at the Florida Supreme Court as a Judicial Extern in the office of Justice Charles T. Canady.

While in law school, Steven served as Senior Articles Editor of the Florida State University Law Review. As Senior Articles Editor, Steven helped persuade some of the best scholars in the country to publish their articles in Volume 37 of the Florida State University Law Review.

Steven also served as a research assistant to Professor Robert E. Atkinson, Jr. at the Florida State University College of Law.

Before attending law school, Steven obtained a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership while teaching at a public high school. Steven served as Social Studies Department Chair from 2005 through 2007 at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. Steven also developed the first Advanced Placement Psychology program to be offered at Lakewood High School and served as coordinator of the Achievement Team Student Mentoring Program.
