Overview
Andrea Waters joined Foley Family Law in 2026 as an Associate Attorney, focusing her practice on Family Law and demonstrating a strong commitment to serving her community. She earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Tampa and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
During her time at Stetson, Andrea was actively involved in the nationally recognized Trial Team, where she developed and refined her advocacy skills. She earned finalist placements in two major competitions and was awarded the Victor O. Wheele Award for achieving the highest grade in her Trial Advocacy section.
Andrea’s legal experience includes serving as a Judicial Intern for Judge Wesley D. Tibbals in the Family Law Division of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court, where she gained valuable insight into family law proceedings. She also broadened her experience through her work with the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office under Julianne M. Holt and an externship with IACP Collaborative Family Law.
Outside of her legal career, Andrea remains dedicated to her community. She enjoys spending time with her family, scrapbooking, and reading—interests that reflect the balance and care she brings to her professional life.
