Overview
Will followed in his father's footsteps and attended undergraduate school at Davidson College in Davidson, NC. He graduated with a B.A. in English Literature in 1995. After spending a semester in Florence, Italy, on a program run by Florida State University, Will started law school at Stetson University College of Law. He graduated from Stetson with honors in 1998. While at Stetson Will was a member of the school's nationally ranked mock trial team and also served as a trial advocacy teaching assistant for two semesters. Will competed in numerous mock trial and moot court competitions during his time at Stetson.
After law school Will spent the first 14 years of his career defending healthcare providers in malpractice lawsuits. At his last defense firm, where he worked for 11 years, Will became a partner in the Tampa office. After leaving that large insurance defense firm Will started working at a small, four attorney firm where he represented victims of medical malpractice. During the seven years Will worked there he settled multiple medical practice cases, several in excess of one million dollars and one case in excess of ten million dollars.
Will joined Morgan & Morgan in order to continue the passionate work of representing victims of medical negligence and their families. He is a dedicated, aggressive, compassionate attorney who strives to achieve the best possible results for his clients, whether that occurs through negotiations with defense counsel, or winning the case at trial.
Will's family is still in Clearwater and he has lived in Tampa since 2000. It's his honor and pleasure to serve clients in the Tampa Bay Area who have suffered at the hands of negligent healthcare providers. Will is a member of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association and the Florida Justice Association.
