Stacey L. Bartlett Esq. - Tampa, FL

As a long-term Tampa Bay area resident, Stacey Bartlett attended the University of South Florida where she received a full scholarship and graduated with her B.A. cum laude. She then worked her way through law school and earned her law degree from Stetson University College of Law, which is recognized as one of the top schools in the country for trial advocacy. There she participated in the client counseling team and competed nationally as a member of the dispute resolution team.

After graduating in 2004, Stacey began working for a Fortune 100 company and spent close to a decade practicing in corporate America. She has benefited from numerous leadership, management, and relationship-building courses during her tenure and has been awarded recognition for her performance, collaboration and negotiation skills, and leadership in difficult situations. Stacey’s real-world experience gives her the ability to look outside the box and bring a different perspective to her client’s cases. She is able to combine her knowledge of the criminal justice system with this experience to earn results for her clients.

Since then, Stacey has become a member of the Clearwater Bar Association, the Pasco Bar Association, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, and has been admitted since 2014 in Florida. In 2017, she opened her own firm where she solely practices criminal defense. Stacey is a full-time wife, mother of two beautiful children, and criminal defense attorney.

“Since I was 8 years old, I have always wanted to be an attorney. I’ve always been passionate about helping others, especially those who have a feeling of helplessness. Fighting for other people is in my DNA. I truly believe in seeking justice in ALL circumstances; this means helping people to understand their rights, fighting to ensure those rights are intact, and making sure that the criminal justice system doesn’t overwhelm my clients. I believe that people deserve second chances, that a mistake shouldn’t define anyone, and that a label such as “criminal” shouldn’t become anyone’s identity. Because of this, I work tirelessly to combine compassion, zeal, and integrity in my practice.”
