Firm Information
Overview
The Stanton Cronin Law Group, PL was founded on the principle of giving clients access to first class legal counsel, regardless of whether they are a multi-national corporation, a local small business or an individual.
Having practiced at some of the largest, most prestigious law firms in the world, the founders of The Stanton Cronin Law Group, PL set out to offer the same quality of legal services in a more efficient, cost-effective manner. Our smaller firm platform allows us to keep our fees lower than the large firms and to engage in flexible billing arrangements such as flat fees and contingency fees in the appropriate cases. This allows our attorneys to stay focused on the quality of the time, as opposed to quantity of time, spent on solutions for our clients.
Our firm recognizes that the legal services industry works best when it is client driven. Businesses need to be nimble, fast moving and adaptable to change and so do their attorneys. We are dedicated to high quality service that is responsive to the needs of businesses by providing constant communication and quick turnaround.
When providing this superior service, our attorneys will prove to be business partners with our clients, able to offer assistance and counsel before, during and after problems arise.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
