Hired Attorney 2020Mr. Gonzalez is extremely knowledgeable in criminal law. He handled my recent criminal matter with professionalism and kept me informed at all times on the status. I have retained Mr. Gonzalez three times over the past 17 years which speaks for itself as to why I continue to have the utmost confidence in him. My last result was better than I ever could have imagined thanks to Mr. Gonzalez. Looking at jail time, probation and a felony, Mr. Gonzalez was able to use his knowledge and techniques to get my charge reduced to a simple misdemeanor and small fine. He is truly an upstanding man and attorney.

Hired Attorney 2017Orlando Gonzalez is the best attorney out there. Unfortunately, I was facing multiple felony charges, but Orlando got every single charge dropped. He saved my life. Not only did he always make time to see me, staying at the office after hours so we could meet, he also made it a point to call me regularly and check on me. I felt that my case was a priority even though I knew he had a full caseload. Mr. Gonzalez is a great attorney and an even better man. If I ever have legal issues in the future, Orlando will be the first person I call. Eleven out of ten stars, worth every penny. If you need a lawyer, hire Orlando Gonzalez. He is truly the best.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
