Overview
Melissa Gonzalez was born in Tampa, Florida and calls the bay area home. Ms. Gonzalez attended the University of Florida where she graduated with honors. She then went on to enroll in Stetson University College of Law where Ms. Gonzalez earned her J.D. in 2012 and where she received several accolades for academic excellence and service to the community.
After graduating law school, Ms. Gonzalez worked for a nationwide professional employer organization litigating cases and providing consulting services. Ms. Gonzalez then found her passion and spent several years representing medical providers in PIP collections for bills that were unjustly denied or reduced. She now brings her knowledge and expertise in Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault claims to Morgan & Morgan's First Party Division. Moreover, in her commitment to the community, Ms. Gonzalez has also worked on several family law cases, many of which were pro bono in nature.
Ms. Gonzalez is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the William Reece Smith Jr. American Inns of Court, and a past member of the HCBA Bar Leadership Institute and the Association of Corporate Counsel.
