Hired Law firm 2025-2026Excellent experience with this firm for my work injury
-
Hired Law firm 2026I would recommend anyone injured on the job to hire them. Blaze handled my case and got me a large settlement at the end.

Hired Law firm 2023-2024MR. VAN DINGENEN AND MR. BLAZE SHOULD BE WORK COMP JUDGES AND THEIR OFFICE SHOULD BE A WORK COMP COURTHOUSE.

Hired Law firm 2023-2024I do not write a lot of reviews but PLEASE READ if you are needing a workers comp attorney. I was just like you several months ago hurt at work and they’re looking for a reason to not pay lost wages or whatever it is. You’re most likely thinking just what I thought I will hire an attorney and I’ll be completely looked after and I’ll receive what is rightfully yours. I personally just finished with my workers comp case about a week ago and I wish someone had left an honest review like mine that if you have Van Dingenen Law represent your case you will 100% regret that decision as I do. My attorney was Blaze and he never once requested any medical documents or spoke to any doctor ever, he was very unprofessional during my mediation and pressured me into something I later refused to sign which the insurance company petitioned to have enforced. So prior to my settlement enforcement hearing I asked my attorney to submit my medical records to the judge to confirm my disability and he responded with that it wasn’t necessary and the judge will only review what happened during my mediation so I figured he knew the law and that ended up being a huge mistake because the judge asked if I documentation to prove my disability and by it not being submitted I was ruled against a lost. PLEASE FIND AN ATTORNEY WHO WILL CARE ABOUT YOU AND NOT THE 33% THEY WILL TAKE FROM YOU.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
