Overview
Steven M. Reising is a Senior Associate Attorney at Briskin, Cross & Sanford, LLC, where he advises corporate clients and individuals on complex business transactions and litigation matters. With more than sixteen years of diverse legal experience, Steve combines practical insight, creative problem solving, and disciplined advocacy to deliver effective results for his clients.
Steve’s practice spans corporate, partnership, and LLC law, business and contract litigation, mergers and acquisitions, franchise law, restrictive covenants, and construction and real estate disputes. Before joining Briskin, Cross & Sanford, he served as a partner at a nationally recognized full-service law firm, where he defended Fortune 500 companies and other clients in a wide range of litigation, including contract disputes, negligent security, premises liability, and construction defect claims. Earlier in his career, he practiced with firms in Chicago, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation, and earning a reputation as a “utility player” for his ability to manage complex, high-volume caseloads across multiple disciplines.
Steve has appeared before magistrate, trial, and appellate courts as well as administrative law tribunals, consistently achieving favorable outcomes in high-stakes matters. Known for his energetic and solution-oriented approach, he focuses on resolving disputes efficiently while protecting his clients’ business interests and reputations.
An active member of the legal community, Steve serves as President of the Forsyth County Bar Association (2025–2026 term) and has held leadership roles with the North Fulton Bar Association, the Marion T. Pope, Jr. American Inn of Court, the Law Library of Forsyth County, and local chambers of commerce. He is also a frequent presenter and keynote speaker on litigation, risk management, and insurance topics for professional and business audiences.
Outside the office, Steve enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with his wife, children, and dog.
