Consulted Law firm 2019-2020PLEASE RUN!!!!!!!! THEY ARE LIARS, AND WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give a rate of 0 I would. There were so many red flags that happen before settlement because we were already a year in the process I didn't want to take the chance of firing my attorney and hiring another one (losing money). These people only want your money! I was dissatisfied with the customer service, the lack of communication, and the fact that they will lie to your face. They lied so much I began to document everything via email. My case was settled on 2/19/2020, and a check was provided on 3/17/2020 almost a month later. The attorney informed us they would charge a %30 fee to satisfy our case. THAT NEVER HAPPEN, AND SHE PLAYED CRAZY DOING CLOSING AS IF SHE COULD'NT REMEMBER! I feel sorry for anyone who desperately needs their money because these people play a lot of games, and LIE! The sad part is, they are black own and take advantage of there own kind. I wouldn't refer a dog to this law firm. PLEASE RUN AND SAVE YOUR TIME!!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
