Got three citations for getting into an accident while driving a car with no insurance. Stephanie helped me to get rid of all the citations and potential license suspension. I only ended up having to pay 395$, and no penalty on my driver license. I was very stressed because it was my first time facing charges, and she constantly reassured me she’d get me out of this. She has to be top 3 best lawyers in Georgia and she isn’t second or third. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Ive hired Stephanie for three different cases and she was amazing every time. I didn’t do no jail ever, 2 of the cases got dismissed and the third one got reduced so I didn’t get no points on my license or higher insurance. Stephanie is so knowledgeable and makes the whole process easier and not stressful.

I’d give her 20 stars if I could. I’m a trucker and I was gonna lose my job, my license, and even have to go to jail. Stephanie worked her magic and got the whole case reduced so my employer/home-state won’t ever know it happened. If ur life and livelihood is on the line – HIRE THE HOUSEFIELD LAW FIRM!!!!

I can't even say enough good things about my experience with this firm/Stephanie. I hope I don't need a criminal attorney again, but if I did, Stephanie would be my first call hands down 100%. If you in trouble, this is the attorney you NEED.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
