Before joining Montlick Injury Attorneys, Catherine began her legal career at a litigation focused personal injury firm, where she gained extensive experience handling challenging injury cases through suit filing, discovery, mediations and trials. She brings this depth of knowledge of the litigation process and its many complexities to her work at Montlick, positioning each case with a clear understanding of the procedural and strategic considerations that may arise if litigation becomes necessary. Catherine strives to resolve cases efficiently and effectively while working to ensure her clients receive the compensation needed to help rebuild their lives. She has successfully resolved hundreds of cases as a practicing attorney and approaches each one with honesty and integrity.

Catherine earned her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2015. During law school, she served as a Law Journal researcher, contributed to two nationally published articles, and clerked for Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Hugh Thompson. Prior to law school, she completed her master’s degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology, graduating with honors, and earned her bachelor’s degree from Scripps College in Claremont, California.

Catherine’s dedication to the law began long before she entered practice. Inspired by her father, also an attorney, she grew up observing the principles of service, preparation, and client care that guide her work today. While working alongside him at Powell & Associates, Catherine contributed directly to the general operations of the law practice, assisting with firm strategy and planning. This hands-on involvement in managing the workflow of a law firm shaped her understanding of effective practice management and informed the disciplined, client-focused style she brings to every case.

An Atlanta native, Catherine is actively involved in supporting her community. Guided by the principle of service above self, she is passionate about her non-profit work for expectant and new mothers. She is an advocate for maternal mental health and for improving the health and and well-being of mothers and babies and has provided pro bono legal support for the Atlanta Birth Center. Catherine has also volunteered with Gateway Feeding Ministries for more than a decade, helping provide food, stability, and compassionate support to individuals facing hardship.

Outside the office, Catherine loves being on the yoga mat and is a talented cook who cherishes time spent with her husband and three daughters. Guided by the simple principle to treat others as she would want to be treated, Catherine brings integrity, compassion, and steady support to every client she represents.
