David Schaefer - Atlanta, GA

David brings decades of experience in nonprofit organizations, government affairs, and law to Rohan Law. Raised in Georgia, he grew up in an Argentine-American family and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2006. Immediately after graduating, he worked at law firms specializing in immigration, criminal, and bankruptcy law. He also served as a paralegal in Georgia prisons, where he assisted incarcerated individuals with their sentencing, convictions, and conditions of confinement.

While pursuing his master's degree at the University of Georgia, David met his future wife, a Venezuelan university professor. They have a son, a music lover, who will likely follow a very different career path than his parents. Locally, David has volunteered with various organizations, including the boards of the Latin American Association, the Atlanta (now Georgia) Audubon Society, and the Gwinnett Coalition.

As a devout follower of Jesus, he is actively involved in his church and seeks to fulfill the call of Micah 6:8: to seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. He is fluent in Spanish and English and proficient in other languages. David strives to help his clients build a better future by providing support to individuals who have been harmed by insensitive legal systems.
