Mary Prebula is committed to strong assertive legal representation to assist in difficult and complex cases. Born in upstate New York, and raised in humble beginnings in the Pennsylvania mountains then eastern North Carolina, she was the first in her family to graduate college, and then attended Emory University Law School. When you need skilled litigation attorney with experience, she knows the law well and will represent you earnestly in Court. She has practiced law in firms from a single lawyer to 2400-member international firm. Her clients have included individuals to a President of the United States and sole proprietors to Fortune 50 companies. Her civil litigation includes discrimination and harassment claims, contract disputes, ERISA pension and health care coverage litigation, family law, probate and wills and trusts.

The State Bar has honored her with its Tradition of Excellence General Practice. She is the first woman in private practice to receive this award. Her peers have rated her AV Preeminent, in the national Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers©, the highest possible designation given for both Legal Ability and Ethical Standards for over 35 years years as well as in the national Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers© (2011 Inaugural Ed.), and Super Lawyers, all the top 5% of lawyers in the country. She also is one of Georgia's Top Rated LawyersTM.

Mary is a past President of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers where under her leadership the group established the Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships to women law students. Mary also served on the Steering Committee that founded Gwinnett Legal Aid, and continues to support pro bono causes and entities.
