Michael Foglio - Atlanta, GA

Michael Foglio is a senior attorney in Bader Law's Buckhead office, where he represents injured workers across Georgia. Admitted to the Georgia bar in 2010, Mike has spent his career almost entirely in the workers' compensation space, building the kind of focused experience that comes from handling a high volume of claims involving medical treatment, income benefits, permanent disability, and catastrophic injury designation.

Background and Education

Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Mercyhurst University and his Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where he was a member of the Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity International. He is licensed to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court, and he holds a General Civil Mediation certification through the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, a GCIC Security and Integrity Certification from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and a completed U.S. Department of Justice State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training Program credential.

Experience Before Bader Law

Before joining Bader Law, Mike served as a Project Attorney with the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia and as a Contract Attorney with the Metro Conflict Office of the Juvenile Court of Fulton County. He then spent more than four years as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Darwin Johnson, LLC in Atlanta, where he built the workers' compensation practice that has defined his career since.

Recognition and Community Involvement

Mike's certification as a mediator makes him particularly effective in settlement negotiations, where he is able to see a case from both sides and find openings for a stronger outcome. He co-founded the A STAR for Ben Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports families affected by Salla Disease, and is an active member of the Georgia Italian American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia's Workers' Compensation Law Section.
