Overview
Nick is the founder of Protentis Law LLC and has been practicing law for over 12 years. Before Nick was an attorney at a large in Atlanta where he gained valuable knowledge and experience handling fire, explosion, negligent construction and product liability cases. Before that, Nick was an attorney for a large insurance company. There, he gained significant trial experience having been the lead attorney in numerous cases tried to verdict.
A native of New England, Nick graduated from Stonehill College in Massachusetts. He went on to earn his law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Jessup International Law Moot Court team, an Honor’s Recipient in Litigation, and performed a year-long externship in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia.
In the years leading up to law school, Nick was a Construction Supervisor for the Albany, Georgia Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Prior to that, Nick was a Team Member in the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, based in Charleston, South Carolina. While in AmeriCorps, Nick participated in various volunteer projects throughout the Southeast, including projects with the National Park Service and the Red Cross.
Nick is a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Atlanta Bar Association’s Small Firm Section, and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He is also on the Board of the Sandy Springs Bar Association and is a member of the Board of Advisors for Shepherd Center, an internationally-renowned hospital for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis, spinal and brain injuries, and neuromuscular diseases.
