Overview
Kip McAlister joined Connor & Connor, LLC in January 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Kip worked in private practice for more than 5 years where he helped individuals and companies navigate regulatory, governmental and other civil actions. He gained invaluable experience in a number of practice areas in State and Federal court including toxic torts, general construction, lender liability, and commercial collections. Prior to working in private practice, Kip prosecuted cases as assistant solicitor in the Second Judicial Circuit for the Honorable J. Strom Thurmond, Jr. and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas A. Russo of the South Carolina Circuit Court.
Kip earned his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2009, where he served as Student Bar Association Senator and on the Executive Leadership Council. Prior to law school, he graduated cum laude from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. Kip also lettered in football and baseball for the Blue Hose and was awarded the Billy Tiller Scholarship for Outstanding Character and Leadership in Athletics.
Born in nearby Edgefield, Kip resides with his family in Aiken, South Carolina.
