Hired Law firm 2021...having never needing an attorney for criminal charges, I chose Michelle. I chose her firm because, from the first phone call, the free office consultation and finally to hiring her, I was treated like my case was top priority. Of course it probably wasn't, but personally, for me it was, so this made me feel as if I wasn't alone fighting this and I had a team helping me. My case is still working through the system, but the work done so far has been very positive for my case. I would recommend this firm and I am in the planning at this time using them to handle another legal problem. I have been putting it off because the fee's quoted by other firms seemed very high, Michelle's was reasonable.

Hired Law firm 2021My name is Carlos: I hired Mrs. M. Vaughan from the city of Blairsville GA, and had a really bad experience, to the point in where I almost gave up. She wasn't what I expected from a lawyer specially when you are looking for a quality lawyer for a divorce case. After many weeks in disagreement and discontent I was forced to fire her and hired another lawyer from the city of Canton GA that in one single day resolved my legal problem. The worst of all is that when I asked for my money back from Mrs. M Vaughan she laughed and refused. I will never hired her even if she is the last lawyer in existence. I would give her less than one star but there is not that option available. RUN Away!!!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
