Todd Buttler handeled a case for me and with great dedication and preserverance. He stayed one hunder percent on top of things and I felt like his only clinent even when there were many. His compassion wash my blessing and he touched me in a way that I still think ok him as the years have passed. He accomplished what I couldn't do of my own will and with love and great companion. And Mr. Buttler I would like a consultation with you concerning a landlord and tenant case that has been horrific, terfing, and the offenses run from abuse of power.., breaking and intering, faltsly written me up for assulting and wrongfully evicted which and then had those charges aspunged after I was out and chargered. It's section 811 housing for the disabeled and ederly. I caught on quickly I was wasnting my time with hotlines and coorperate offices because politics it is and local law enforcement can't do anything because of bylaws. Because of a manager with a Good complex ran into someone who now's her constutional right and and exercised them so she showed me. Im homeless bue to her wrong actions and behavior. If you review my case and find it worth persuing I will be good to you. It's the principle I fight for and all the others who can't help thereselves not having the mental ability or live in fear of this community where they buylaws say we have of voice in all things but that never was. It's been a dictatorship for the three years I remained and other much longer. I'm doing for them as well. If there is aonatary award, all I want is to re-establish residence in my name so no one can ever do that to

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
