Overview
Brittany is a lead attorney at TSLF. She is dedicated to helping families navigate legal challenges with compassion and clarity. Brittany works to preserve her clients’ resources, mental health, and relationships, focusing on solutions that minimize conflict and avoid unnecessary court battles whenever possible.
With experience spanning high-asset divorce cases, child custody, child support, and more, Brittany brings both legal expertise and a client-centered approach to every case. Her family law career began as an attorney for the Special Assistant Attorney General for the Atlanta Judicial Circuit, where she focused on establishing child support. She also honed her skills in bankruptcy and consumer litigation, giving her a well-rounded understanding of complex legal and financial matters.
A proud Georgia native, Brittany grew up in Milton and earned her undergraduate degree in public relations from the University of Georgia. After completing her law degree at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., she returned to Atlanta to be closer to family and serve her community.
Outside of the office, Brittany enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and her Pomeranians. She believes that family law is about more than resolving disputes—it’s about helping clients build brighter futures.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
