Attorney Information

Overview

While studying History at the University of Georgia, Jennifer began her legal career at 18 as a paralegal where Jennifer’s passion for advocacy was born. During her second year of law school, Jennifer welcomed a baby boy, all the while juggling the demands of law school and two prestigious clerking positions. Jennifer served two terms for the Superior Court of Hall County, once before the Honorable Jason Deal and again before the Honorable David Burroughs. After graduating from John Marshall Law School in 2016, Jennifer started her own firm specializing in family and child advocacy. In just 4 years, Jennifer has spent thousands of hours advocating in the courtroom and has litigated hundreds of civil cases as lead counsel. In addition to this litigation, Jennifer has served as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem for children throughout North Georgia, many of whom were victims of neglect and abuse. Through her role as a Guardian ad Litem, and a court-appointed juvenile advocate, Jennifer gives innocent children a voice and opportunity to be heard. Jennifer knows her way around a courtroom.

Outside of the courtroom, Jennifer serves on the board of We Care, a non-profit organization that aids children and their families that may not qualify for conventional public assistance. A native of Northern California, Jennifer’s family moved to Flowery Branch in 1996. She now resides in Gainesville, Georgia with her husband, also an attorney, and their three children. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys family activities on Lake Lanier and is an avid kickboxer.

It was through her role in child and family advocacy that Jennifer honed a deep passion for those who have suffered injury or wrongful death. Sharing this passion, Jennifer and Kristy partnered together in 2021 to form Davies Hothem Injury Law. Jennifer and Kristy have the skills, experience, and, most importantly, fierce passion to get you or your loved one justice after suffering an injury. If you or a loved one has suffered injury or wrongful death, call Jennifer or Kristy at Davies Hothem Injury Law today.
