Overview
Ashley Mackin Brodie represents real people involved in real issues. Whether considering divorce or facing criminal charges, Ashley understands the emotional toll a legal case can bring on a person. She maintains a client focused law practice where she personally walks each individual client through every stage of the legal process pertaining to their case.
After graduating with honors from the University of Georgia with a degree in business management, Ashley attended Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia where she received her law degree.
Following law school, Ashley worked for a law firm in Macon, Georgia where she represented Macon/Bibb County Planning and Zoning and also gained valuable trial experience while handling civil litigation cases.
In January of 2008, Ashley returned to her hometown of Gray, Georgia to open her own law practice. Since opening her practice in 2008, Ashley has focused on helping middle Georgians with their legal needs in the areas of family/divorce law, personal injury/auto accidents and criminai/DUI law.
Tenacity and hard work is second nature to Ashley. Growing up, Ashley watched her mother struggle to juggle working two or three jobs just to provide the basic necessities to Ashley and her older brother, Greg. Ashley took those lessons to heart and worked many different jobs to put herself through college and then through law school. Ashley knows what it means to struggle and she works hard to help her clients in their time of struggle whether it's because
of a divorce, criminal charges or because of an injury suffered in a car
accident.
While attending the University of Georgia, Ashley also played for the women's rugby team. Usually the smallest player on the field, Ashley learned to play harder and be more tenacious than the other players. Ashley brings that same "play harder, more tenacity" attitude as an attorney both in the courtroom and outside of it.
Ashley states that with divorce work, criminal work and auto accident work she is given the opportunity to help people during the most stressful and turbulent times in their lives. Although her daily schedule is often quite tense and hectic, Ashley takes her cases to heart and cares deeply about seeking the best possible outcome for her clients. She prides herself and her law practice around providing personalized, individual attention to her clients as she helps them navigate the complex legal system.
