Overview
KlinTisha Martin is a Georgia native raised in Powder Springs. A proud alumna of McEachern High School, she is a two-time women's basketball state champion. She continued her academic and athletic journey at the Illustrious Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she excelled both in the classroom and in motherhood. KlinTisha graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science before earning her Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern University, where she co-founded the law school's civil rights journal, further reaffirming her commitment to excellence, advocacy, and public service.
After re-locating to Georgia in 2022, KlinTisha fulfilled her childhood dream of becoming an attorney. She passed the bar exam in July 2022 and was sworn in as a member of the Georgia Bar that December. Since then, KlinTisha has served as a federal judicial law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio. After transitioning out of her clerkship, KlinTisha worked as a family law associate with a small private firm before joining the Meriwether & Tharp team.
Outside of the office, KlinTisha Martin is a proud mother of two boys. She is a varsity women's high school basketball coach, member of motion running club, and enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.
