Morgan Lewis - Johns Creek, GA

Born and raised on St. Simons Island, Georgia, Morgan Overly Lewis is proud to return to the community that shaped her and begin serving families throughout southeast Georgia. She joined Meriwether & Tharp in 2026 as an Associate Attorney after being admitted to practice law in South Carolina in 2026.

Morgan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia College & State University in 2021 before attending the Charleston School of Law, where she graduated in May 2025. During law school, she was an active member of the Charleston School of Law Moot Court team and served as Associate Justice of Internal Affairs. Her advocacy skills earned her recognition as a Top Four Finalist in the school's internal moot court competition.

While living in South Carolina, Morgan also served as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, an experience that solidified her passion for family law. Through advocating for children and families during difficult moments, she discovered her calling: helping people navigate some of life's toughest challenges with compassion, empathy, and strong legal representation.

Outside of the office, Morgan enjoys baking and cooking with her husband for friends and family. Together, they also love spending time with their dog and enjoying days at the beach.
