Mr. Proffitt graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oregon prior to attending law school at the University of Georgia. After graduating Cum Laude from UGA, Mr. Proffitt worked as a Post-Graduate Legal Fellow at UGA’s Veterans Legal Clinic where he represented veterans in obtaining benefits from the Veterans Administration and discharge upgrades from the Department of Defense. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Proffitt worked as general counsel for community associations, assisting with HOA governance, development, and enforcement. Mr. Proffitt is also a proud member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. In his free time, Mr. Proffitt enjoys spending time with his family and being a car enthusiast.
