Macon Personal Injury Lawyer
Overview
Brian Adams, the founding partner of Adams Law Firm, has a passionate commitment to both his clients and the practice of law. A third-generation Macon attorney, Brian’s inherent legal savvy teamed with his drive to help others has paved a successful path to representing seriously injured individuals in a wide range of litigation matters. Brian strongly believes in the right to trial and has experience in both the trial and appellate courts throughout the state of Georgia.
Throughout Brian Adams’ career, he has unmercifully fought both insurance companies and large corporations responsible for harming innocent victims through negligent business practices. As a result, he has recovered millions of dollars for his clients. Brian fully dedicates himself to each case and ensures that each client gets the care and attention they deserve.
A dedicated conservationist and outdoor enthusiast, Brian Adams is heavily involved in multiple community organizations concentrating on the protection of our environment. As Founder of the Ocmulgee National Park & Preserve Initiative, he is a driving force in bringing Georgia’s first National Park to his community. Additionally, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Altamaha RiverKeeper, Keep Macon-Bibb Beautiful Commission, and the Ocmulgee Water Trail Partnership. His involvement in these influential organizations, among other environmental groups, further champions his efforts to hold powerful corporations accountable for various mistreatments to both individuals and communities.
In 2023, Brian was named Lawyer of the year for the Macon Bar Association. For three consecutive years, Brian has been named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in personal injury. This prestigious distinction is awarded to no more than 2.5% of the attorneys in Georgia, based on Super Lawyers’ determination of the state’s elite up-and-coming attorneys who have attained both a high-level of professional achievement and positive peer recognition. Brian has also received the “Client’s Choice Award” through Avvo, was named one of the “Top 100 Lawyers” through the National Trial Lawyers Association, and was named “Best Attorney” in 2018 by The Macon Telegraph.
Brian’s demanding schedule is rewarded with time spent with his daughter and son, making memories with family and friends, traveling, reading, skiing, hiking, and canoeing. With a true “carpe diem” spirit, you can trust that when practicing law and enriching his community, Brian’s passion for results is guaranteed.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level
- - Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials
- - How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost
- - How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City
- - Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
