Doyle E. Mullis III - Macon, GA

Doyle is from the Savannah area. He graduated from the University of Tampa on a four-year Army ROTC Scholarship. He was commissioned in the Infantry in the Army Reserve and began working in the financial services sector until starting Mercer University Law School.

Doyle met his wife in Macon during the flood of 1994 where she was volunteering, while he was responding with the military. They both enjoy spending time with their church and family members.

Doyle is retired from both the Civil Service and the Army Reserve. He is a Desert Storm veteran. He served as a U.S. Department of Defense Special Agent and as a Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Officer. Doyle has extensive practical experience working in banking, insurance and investments.

As a JAG, Doyle served military members and their families with Estate Planning, drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives and other Estate Planning tools needed for their Financial Readiness.

At Anderson, Walker & Reichert, Doyle now serves his clients in Asset Protection and Fiduciary Law, with a focus on Elder and Disability Law. He is experienced with Conservatorships and Guardianships, and with Administering Estates and Trusts.

He provides Estate and Financial Planning with an emphasis on Long-Term Care needs for Senior and Disabled persons. He focuses on Asset Preservation strategies for loved ones. Doyle understands the importance of carefully planning for the high cost of Healthcare and Long-Term Care when Building Wealth. He helps clients use Trusts to achieve their financial goals.

He also responds where needs are immediate for Preserving Money Saved while Maintaining Government Benefits.

Doyle has litigated cases where someone has taken advantage of a person with diminished or reduced decision-making ability.

Disabled persons have unique challenges maintaining Benefits when Receiving Assets from Family. He helps these clients with Special Needs Trusts and other tools.

Doyle is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA).
