Overview
Sam Joyce was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia before returning home to Macon to attend Mercer University School of Law. While at Mercer Law, Mr. Joyce served as the President of Mercer’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society and Vice President of the Mercer Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Joyce is currently serving as the President of the Middle Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Joyce began his legal career at a large insurance defense law firm in Macon. He quickly realized he wanted to spend his legal career representing everyday people, not insurance companies. Mr. Joyce is admitted to practice before all state and superior courts in Georgia, as well as the United States District Courts for the Middle District of Georgia and Northern District of Georgia. He regularly practices before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation. Mr. Joyce is a member of The National Trial Lawyers, achieving Top 40 Under 40 status in 2025. He specializes in civil litigation law, bodily injury, and workers’ compensation.
When not practicing law, Mr. Joyce enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, and watching the Atlanta Braves and UGA Football.
