Hired Law firm 2018-2020He won’t take a case if doesn’t have room on his calendar. Doesn’t over promise/under deliver like most others. Concise, direct, and expects his clients to be truthful. Great professional and personal reputation.

Hired Law firm 2005-2015I hired him as my divorce attorney. After dragging the divorce out for 10 years the divorce was finally granted. At the final hearing Holley left our table without saying a word to me, walked up to the judges bench, requested the balance owed to him which was granted then left the courtroom without so much as saying a word to me. A couple days later I had a question and phoned his office where his assistant was very rude and short with me. I would absolutely NOT recommend this firm.

Hired Law firm 2019Mr. Holley represented me in a legal matter last month (July 2019). I could not have found a more caring, considerate and knowledgeable attorney anywhere on this earth.

All of my personal experience with Mr. Holley's representation have resulted in a favorable outcome. He will tell you what you need to hear, instead of only what you want to hear. I confidently recommend anyone that I know who may be seeking legal counsel to consult with Mr. Holley. He holds himself to a standard that sets him apart from many in his profession. How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
