Marilyn Yingling - Marietta, GA

Marilyn joined MIJS as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Civil and Commercial Litigation department. She moved to Marietta, Georgia, from Panama City, Florida, during high school and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University.

She was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia after receiving her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from Mercer University School of Law. During law school, she received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and received a CALI award for Managing Law Practice. Marilyn also spent her last semester as a legal extern in the Corporate Counsel Program with The Home Depot. During the summers, she interned with a remote Employment Law firm based in San Diego, California, and rotated through several practice areas as a summer associate at MIJS.

Marilyn currently resides in Kennesaw with her husband, Jacob, and their two cats, Toast and Ghost. Marilyn enjoys spending time with friends, trying new restaurants, traveling, playing trivia, going to the gym, and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons/Braves.
