Tim Pierse - Marietta, GA

Tim Pierse joined MIJS in September 2022 as an Associate Attorney in the firm’s Insurance/ Liability Defense department. He received his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Mississippi in 2008.

After graduation Tim went to work as a Felony Probation Officer for the GA department of corrections supervising violent offenders in Cobb and Cherokee County. Then in 2013, Tim enlisted in the United States Army as an interrogator and source handler focused on combatting ISIS and the Taliban. After the Army, Tim leveraged his military experience into a position in Washington D.C. working for the Central Intelligence Agency and Defense Intelligence Agency to continue countering terrorism as well as Russia/China aggression against U.S. equities. While working full time in the Intelligence Community, Tim went to law school at night at the George Washington University Law School, earning his J.D. in the spring of 2022, and was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in November of 2022.

In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his son, Timmy, his wife Kristy, and rooting for the Ole Miss Rebels.
