Overview

Derek was born and raised in Henry County and attended Locust Grove High School. He earned his Associate's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science at Georgia State University. Derek went on to receive his Juris Doctorate at Atlanta's John Marshal Law School. Derek was Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity's Hollowell Chapter, a member and coach of moot court, and sat on a student advisory council with the Dean. He has also won awards for completing the most pro bono hours while in law school. Derek also interned with our firm for over 4 years while completing his juris doctorate and was officially brought on as our newest associate attorney in 2022. Derek is now happily practicing law throughout Middle Georgia.
