Overview
Since entering private practice in 1996, Mr. Bowen has been a member of several of Atlanta's leading law firms. His primary practice has been concentrated in commercial and residential real estate, representing lenders, purchasers and sellers in connection with acquisitions, foreclosures, REO sales, as well as the filing and prosecution of title insurance claims. Mr. Bowen has been an agent for many of the national title insurance companies during his career. While the bulk of his practice has been transactional in nature, he managed, as sole or lead counsel, several hundred real estate litigation matters adjudicated in both the State and Superior Courts of Georgia. Prior to entering private practice, Curran served as a law clerk with the Magistrate Court of Fulton County, Georgia, where he assisted Judges with the prosecution of both civil and criminal matters. In addition, he served as an Assistant District Attorney with the Coweta Judicial Circuit in Newnan, Georgia. He and his wife, Caroline, have two children, a son, Kirby and daughter, Mary Martin. They reside in Newnan, Georgia where they are active members of Central Baptist Church. Mr. Bowen currently serves as a Deacon, Class of 2016, and as Chair of the Endowment Fund. He also serves on the Committee for the Boy Scouts of America, Flint River Council, Troop 47.
